Prueba Serologica o de anticuerpos.- No detecta el virus, detecta el grado de protección adquirida de esa persona frente al virus ( respuesta inmulogica)
Ventajas
Inconvenientes
- Puede ser rápido y masivo.
- Detecta dos tipos de anti cuerpos, que permiten saber si la persona está en primera etapa de defensa (IgM) o si ha generado una respuesta de memoria al virus (IgG).
-No es una prueba de diagnostico.
- El cuerpo tarda entre 5 o 7 días en desarrollar estos anticuerpos.
